Pressure Systems

At Engineering Inspection (Ireland) Ltd., all our engineers are competent to produce Minor WSE. All Intermediate and Major WSE are created/reviewed by a Chartered Engineer.

Expert Inspections & examinations of Pressure Systems

The regulations apply to users and owners of systems under pressure containing ‘relevant fluids’ and steam at any pressure. A ‘relevant fluid’ is a gas or a liquid which would become a gas if released to atmosphere.

PSSR requires every pressure system be considered for inclusion in a WSE – most are legally required to have one, very small systems (< 250 bar*litres) may be exempt. All pressure systems must be inspected periodically, and this is the service we provide.
We provide WSE free of charge.
